It is likely that our role will increase in future years particularly in the areas of trainees’ education and research. In addition to these roles, it has provided a network of contacts from which friendships and good relations have developed to the benefit of patients and doctors alike.
It is the impartial voice of Critical Care in the region, providing a supportive and non-political atmosphere where issues can be discussed freely.
